Juanjo Mediavilla

Sociologist from the University of Valladolid. He holds a degree in Sociology and in Theory of Literature and Comparative Literature from the University of Salamanca. He is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Sociology at the University of Valladolid and teaches at the Faculty of Labour Sciences. He holds a Master’s degree in International Cooperation for Development and a PhD in Sociology from the University of Salamanca, with a thesis on philanthrocapitalism as a model of social action. His research interests focus on critical sociology, discourse analysis, Systems Dynamics applied to the Social Sciences and development financing. He coordinates the social module of the LOCOMOTION H2020 project.
