Luis Javier Miguel González

Professor in the Department of Systems Engineering and Automation at the University of Valladolid since 1997. He has taught for over twenty years in courses related to Automatic Control and Project Management. He is currently involved in undergraduate teaching in the areas of System Dynamics and Engineering Ethics, as well as in postgraduate courses on Project Management. His early research focused on automatic fault diagnosis and predictive maintenance in industrial environments. Since 2004, following a research stay at the University of Bergen (Norway), his work has shifted toward applying system dynamics to the analysis of energy resources and policy.Within this field, the majority of his research has been focused on the development of Integrated Assessment Models (IAMs), which facilitate the analysis of interrelations between between energy, economy, and environmental variables.
