We’re pleased to announce that the second edition of the HYDRA Insight newsletter is now available! This edition highlights the key scientific and technical milestones achieved in the first 22 months of the HYDRA project, which is part of one of our research group’s projects focused on hydrogen sustainability.
Highlights from this edition:
- Policy Analysis & Hydrogen Targets
Led by CARTIF, this section provides an in-depth review of hydrogen strategies, regulations, and roadmaps from Europe and around the world. - Hydrogen Value Chain & Leakage Analysis
Conducted by Politecnico di Torino, this comprehensive assessment presents groundbreaking findings on hydrogen leakage across the entire supply chain, now published in the International Journal of Hydrogen Energy. - Hydrogen Leakage Detection System
Developed by AUTOMA, this system is currently undergoing wind tunnel testing to support the safe and sustainable deployment of hydrogen technologies.
Looking forward, the HYDRA project will continue to focus on refining integrated modelling, validating detection technologies, and conducting environmental impact assessments to support the transition to a more sustainable hydrogen economy in Europe.
