Pablo García García
Pablo García-García (Astorga, 1995). Economist from the University of León.
Graduate in Economics from the University of León (University of León Award, Illustrious Economists Association Award and Leonese Entrepreneurs Association Award). He completed an internship in the EUFICH Jean Monnet Project by the European Commission (Erasmus+), as well as a research stay to study the Nordic energy policy regarding sustainability. Master of Research in Economics, in the speciality of International Economics, from the Spanish National Distance Education University, with a dissertation about the energy security in the European Union and the state of the European Energy Union. Currently, he is a PhD student in Economics at the Department of Applied Economics at the University of Valladolid, with a pre-doctoral fellowship from the Castile and León Regional Council and the European Social Fund, and honorary collaborator at the Department of Economics and Statistics at the University of León. His doctoral thesis, about the comparative socioeconomic effects of energy transitions Spain-Nordic countries and their connections to institutional systems, is linked to the MODESLOW Project and supervised by two of its researchers: Prof Dr Mr Óscar Carpintero Redondo (University of Valladolid) and Prof Dr Mr Luis Buendía García (University of León).
